- What’s your dating history? Experts say it’s not a fun question and you should instead be asking playful questions that could make your date smile.
- Do you want to go on a second date? They say it’s better to leave it open ended and give you both time to really think about whether or not you want a second date. That makes sense, but if I wanted a second date, I was always sure to lock it down on date one. I’m pretty sure I did that with my husband Andy, but I’m not 100% certain. Isn’t it funny how I remember our first date, but have no recollection of date two.
- Drinks have been fun. Should we get dinner now? That was a signature move of mine too. Meet for drinks. If it’s terrible, you only have to stay for one drink. If it’s great, maybe things end with dinner. Experts say you should aim for a shorter first date and leave each other wanting more.
