Stress either starts in or ends up in your relationships.  It goes without saying that we are living in an extremely stressful time, which is taking its toll on lives in more ways we realize.

Stress depletes our energy that we need to not just function in our day-to-day activities, but energy we need to invest in our relationships.  It’s no wonder so many people are now dealing with strained marriages, relationships and friendships.

Energy is like money.  You have only so much of it and if you don’t pay attention to how you spend it, you will soon find out that you no longer have much of it.

Now more than ever you need to be mindful of how you are investing your energy. Is it in your family, friends, and areas that fulfill you and bring you joy or are you wasting it on friendships that drain you or arguments on Facebook?

Our challenge for today is to examine how we spend our time and energy on the things and people that mean the most of us, so that they get the best of us.
