Make Someone’s Day With a Post-It Note
Making someone’s day doesn’t have to be difficult, complicated, or expensive. For bus driver Heather White in New Palestine, she simply writes encouraging Post-it notes for each of the students she drives to school, hoping to start their day on a positive note.
The notes contain uplifting messages tailored to the age of the students, aiming to make them feel special and valued. This initiative was part of a 100-day challenge set by the district superintendent to benefit others, and White’s dedication to spreading positivity extends beyond her bus route. She plans to continue the practice throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of making a positive impact on others.
