The Most Common Reason Relationships End
Most reasons relationships end fall under this umbrella… we get lazy.
At the beginning, you have an internal push to please your partner. Over time, that can fade and instead you stop prioritizing their needs and sometimes you even stop treating them well.
All those habits at the beginning – a thoughtful text in the middle of the day, just because flowers, or surprise date nights – those things come easy at the beginning. As the relationship goes on, you have to be more intentional about that stuff. I could sum it up best by saying, keep treating your partner well and prioritizing their needs.
And if it’s been a while since your relationship has felt like this – like you both really cared about each other in tangible, intentional ways… don’t wait for your partner to make the effort to return to that. You do it! You’d be amazed at how often change can come to a relationship by way of just one person.
