Jeff Baena, an accomplished indie filmmaker known for his dark comedies, died by suicide at the age of 47 in Los Angeles.
Baena was celebrated for writing and directing films such as The Little Hours, Life After Beth, and Spin Me Round, many of which featured his wife and frequent collaborator, actress Aubrey Plaza.
