Listen Live

Our countdown to Thanksgiving continues with our “21 Days of Gratitude.”  Taking time each day to acknowledge a person or an area of life we are thankful for.

Music is a huge part of my life.  Even though I can’t sing to save my life, have no rhythm, and can’t play a musical instrumental, music has been a huge part of my life and career.

When you think about your life, you probably can’t point to many “musical milestones” – learning to sing nursery rhymes or maybe songs in church … seeing your first concert … buying your first album.  Maybe you and your significant other “have a song” … or it was song sung at a friend’s funeral.  Music seems to be woven into our lives.

Dick Clark called music “the soundtrack to our lives.”  How many times have you heard a song and it instantly takes you back to a specific time in your life or memory?  Songs often speak to the joy or the heartache we all can relate to and for many of us, our lives would be empty without music.

So today, take a moment to be thankful for great music and even if you are out of tune, belt out your favorite song with gratitude.
