Indiana’s Most Popular Pizza May Surprise You
Pizza Trends You Need to Know About in 2025
First off, Americans are planning to eat more pizza in 2025 than they did last year.
In fact, 32% of us say we’ll indulge more frequently.
Kansas is leading the charge with the average Kansan eating 10 slices of pizza a month.
That’s some serious pizza dedication—though the real question is, are they talking about party-cut slices or regular?
Some other pizza trends:
- When it comes to sides, ranch is the most popular dipping sauce.
- Pizza Hut’s thin crust reigns supreme. They sell more thin crust pizzas than any other.
- As for toppings, the average person hasn’t dared to switch things up in over two years! But nearly 60% of pizza lovers say they’d like to try something new but aren’t sure where to begin.
- In Indiana, Supreme pizza is king. While many love the full-flavored combo of sausage, peppers, onions, and more, some (like me) think it’s too much. I’m a thin crust man and most thin crusts can’t handle that many toppings. My go to is a thin with sausage and banana peppers.
What are your pizza habits? Are you daring enough to switch it up this year or are you sticking to your trusted favorites?
