Chappell Roan Will Perform At Elton John’s Oscars Party

Chappell Roan will perform at the Elton John Aids Foundation’s Oscars Watch Party on March 2. Jean Smart, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Neil Patrick Harris, and David Burtka will host the event to raise funds to end AIDS and LGBTQ stigma.

Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, Sharon Stone, Mick Jagger, and Sean Penn are among the confirmed attendees for the gala, which aims to unite communities, raise awareness, and inspire hope in the fight against AIDS.

Elton John has been a fan of Chappell Roan, offering her advice on dealing with sudden success and “expressing excitement about her album’s success during an evening of pizza and laughter after she appeared on his Apple Music radio show.”
