Key Findings on Marijuana Legalization:
- 62% Support Full Legalization: A majority of Hoosiers believe marijuana should be legal for both recreational and medicinal use.
- 25% Favor Medicinal Use Only: Some residents support legalization strictly for medical purposes.
- 13% Oppose Legalization: A small minority believe cannabis should remain illegal.
Kevin Smith, interim director of the Bowen Center, stated that Indiana’s support for legalization mirrors shifting attitudes nationwide.
The survey also covered many other topics Hoosiers hope Governor-elect Mike Braun will address when he takes office.
