INDIANAPOLIS–Now that Richard Allen has been found guilty of killing Abby Williams and Libby German in Delphi back in 2017, Hoosiers are reacting to the verdict.

“I think there was reasonable doubt definitely. However, I don’t think anyone who was not in that room can give a fair assessment of who was right or wrong,” one woman said in downtown Indianapolis.

Another woman said she’s satisfied with it.

“I’m glad that they found somebody because the girls deserve justice. To be fair, I haven’t followed it enough to be confident that he’s the guy, but I’m confident that the prosecutor did their job well and he is the guy,” she said.

This man was asked if he thought Allen was a violent man.

“You don’t need to be in order to commit a crime that heinous. A jury of his peers found him to be guilty in a legal court system for a reason,” he said.

A gag order remains in effect until Allen is sentenced December 20.
