Favorite concert ever attended? I’m not sure what my “favorite” is, because I have seen so many concerts over the years. Most memorable is seeing Barry Manilow at the state fair (don’t judge – there is a backstory there) and almost saw some people get into a fight! Which I know sounds cliché – a brawl amongst Barry Manilow fans.
Top 3 favorite movies? Anchorman, Shawshank Redemption, Blues Brothers.
Early bird or night owl? Night owl
Most embarrassing/funniest on air moment? The very first time I went to speak on the radio, I talked for about 30-seconds and then realized I never turned on the microphone. My manager running down the hall waving his arms should have been a clue, but the dead air was probably more entertaining than anything I said.
What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to make movies. If you have ever watched “The Goldbergs” – I was like that kid. I have VHS tapes full of movies I made with my friends.
If you had a weekend to do anything you wanted, what would it be? Honestly, just being able to relax and be with my family sounds great to me!
First social media platform you check in the morning? Facebook
If you could take anyone to lunch (alive or dead), who would it be and where would you go? A tie between David Letterman and Will Ferrell. Assuming they are paying, someplace expensive.
Biggest pet peeve? Clueless drivers.
Dream vacation spot? Maui. I’ve been there twice, including my honeymoon.
Best way to turnaround your day when it’s going downhill? Something amazing can happen when we look outside of ourselves and look to help someone else.
Best advice you were ever given? “Don’t make that face or it will stay that way.” My mom said that and I can honestly say she was right.
