The common question that may really be criticism in disguise. That’s this week’s Tune Up Tuesday – a little nugget you can use to tune up your relationship every Tuesday morning around 8:15 on B105.7.
The question – why? Why questions are often criticisms in disguise. Very rarely are they interpreted positively. Why did you do this? Why didn’t’ you tell me you were going to do that? More often than not, those sort of questions come off accusatory. So, try this – instead of coming at your partner with “whys” – try sharing how you feel… and then give them a chance to explain.
