If you were to ask my mom one of her biggest regrets when it comes to me, she would probably bemoan the fact that she didn’t push me (or teach me) to eat healthier – namely, eating my vegetables.  In fairness to her, most kids go out of their way to avoid eating their veggies – so the struggle is real and common.

So how do you get your kids to eat vegetables?  Other than slathering them in chocolate, a scientific study says providing your child with choices.  They found that parents who offered their kids multiple vegetable options – rather just one – had children who not only at their vegetables, but ended up consuming almost twice as much as kids who only get one veggie option.

Somewhere my mom is wondering if this works on grown adults, too?
