Well if you are 45 years old bad news – you are not having any fun.  Yep, according to a new study life is the “least fun” at the age of 45. It was a finding in a bigger study that essentially shows we don’t have as much fun as we did when we were kids.

In fact the study showed that some people admit to going a whole week without doing anything “fun.”  Can you imagine? No fun for an entire week?

While it’s probably true that most of us had more fun as a kid, our adult lives should not be devoid of fun.  I wonder how much this has to do with as children we are less-jaded, more pure, and even less-tired?  Think about it – when you were a kid, you often could enjoy playing with an old cardboard box or playing something as basic as hide-and-seek? Life was simpler, with less responsibility and therefore easier to have fun.

So how do we get back to that?  Maybe it’s trying to strip away the cynicism that comes as we get older?  Maybe it’s appreciating the simpler things in life?  Maybe it’s as easy seeing kids play and looking to jump in?  Whatever it is, your challenge this week is to channel your inner-playful-child and have some fun!
