Mariah Carey Partners With A New Company

Mariah Carey has partnered with Larry Jackson’s independent music company, Gamma, for a multi-album deal.

L.A. Reid is executive producing Carey’s upcoming 16th album, marking a collaboration with Carey since her multi-platinum album “The Emancipation of Mimi.”
Carey performed her latest single “Type Dangerous” at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 9th.

Carey expressed her excitement about joining Gamma, stating, “What Larry Jackson is building at Gamma is beyond music. It’s a cultural shift, and I’m excited to be part of something that honors legacy while pushing boundaries.”

Carey’s new single “Type Dangerous” aims to help her tie with the Beatles for the most Number Ones ever on the Hot 100, with the Beatles currently holding 20 number ones and Carey close behind at 19.
