ANDERSON, Ind. — They say he stole a woman’s car and ran her over with it. That’s what police say Chance Tressler did in Anderson last week.

Court documents say a woman was carjacked outside a gas station on October 9th. Chance Tressler had driven his car to the gas station and is said to have been high on both meth and Xanax at the time.

The woman told detectives that she saw Tressler in a Chrysler 200  following her as she got to the gas station in her SUV.

He stole the woman’s car, ran over her, and drove off. The woman will be okay as she was taken to the ER with swelling and bruises.

Tressler later was T-boned by another car as he ran a red light at an interception. He was then able to drive off again and police could not find where he was.

Police later tracked Tressler down and he told the cops he had no memory of stealing the car after coming to in a soybean field. He’s charged with robbery and battery among a few other things.
